The Knicks follow the traditional ticker-tape path: north up Broadway from the foot of the island to the steps of City Hall. The granite plaques underfoot trace the same line every champion has walked, from the Mets after the 1969 World Series to the Giants after their 2012 Super Bowl win.

Because the cameras refresh as still images every few seconds rather than streaming full motion, the experience is closer to a rapid photo sequence than a TV broadcast — but it lets you watch any specific block the moment the floats arrive. Road Closures and Getting Around
Expect heavy closures across Lower Manhattan from early morning. Broadway and the cross streets feeding it will shut down well before the 10:00 AM step-off, and surrounding avenues slow as traffic diverts.
Driving anywhere near Lower Broadway on parade morning is impractical. The MTA subway is the only reliable way in. Cross-reference our cameras with 511NY and NYPD event advisories for live closure updates, since road closures expand as crowds grow.
The simplest subway approaches: 4/5 to Bowling Green for the start, R/W to Whitehall or Cortlandt Street for the southern route, 1 to Rector or Cortlandt for mid-Broadway, and 2/3 to Park Place for the City Hall finish. City officials advised spectators to arrive at least two hours early because of security screening and barricades.
