VIEW TRUIST PARK CAMERAS โTruist Park opened in 2017 as SunTrust Park and was renamed in January 2020 after the SunTrust and BB&T merger created Truist Financial (Wikipedia). It sits in Cumberland, an unincorporated part of Cobb County, roughly 10 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta, and it anchors The Battery Atlanta, a $400 million mixed-use district of shops, restaurants, offices, apartments, and the Coca-Cola Roxy concert hall wrapped around the ballpark. The Cobb-Marietta Coliseum and Exhibit Hall Authority owns the stadium; the Braves operate it.
The site was chosen because it sits "near the geographic center of the Braves' fan base," right at the I-75 and I-285 interchange. That location is the whole traffic story: it is one of the most congested freeway junctions in the country, and Truist Park has no rail transit at all.
TrafficVision.Live aggregates live camera feeds from the Georgia Department of Transportation and its 511GA network covering the Cumberland interchange and the metro Atlanta approaches. Hundreds of Georgia cameras are free to view, no account required.
Approach Corridors to Truist Park
I-75 / I-285 Cobb Cloverleaf
Interchange cams
The junction directly beside the ballpark and the single most important thing to watch. In the 2026 American Transportation Research Institute rankings, I-75 at I-285 North placed No. 5 nationally among freight bottlenecks, with peak speeds crawling to 31.1 mph.
I-285 (the Perimeter)
Perimeter approach cams
The stretch of I-285 through the interchange carries roughly 250,000 vehicles per day, making it one of the busiest freeways in the United States. Cams here show conditions from the Sandy Springs and I-85 sides.
Cobb Parkway (US-41)
Arterial approach cams
The primary surface artery past Cumberland Mall and into The Battery. When the interstates lock up, Cobb Parkway is the fallback, and it backs up in turn on game nights.
Windy Hill Road & Cumberland Boulevard
Local access cams
The two roads that funnel traffic off I-75 into the Truist Park parking decks. Windy Ridge Parkway, off Cumberland Boulevard, is where the rideshare zone sits.
Game-Day Traffic: The No-Rail Reality
Truist Park is the rare major-league venue with no train station. The nearest rail is over 10 miles away in downtown and Midtown Atlanta, so essentially everyone arrives by car, bus, or shuttle. That concentrates demand onto the same interchange that already ranks among the nation's worst.
The Cobb Cloverleaf is chronically slow even without a ballgame. Layer a sellout crowd onto an interstate junction that ATRI clocks at 31.1 mph peak speed (Trucking Research / ATRI), and the approach windows tighten fast. Traffic thickens on I-75 and I-285 in the two hours before first pitch, then Cobb Parkway, Windy Hill Road, and Cumberland Boulevard fill as drivers work toward the decks. The heaviest single pulse is the postgame exit, when 14,000-plus parking spaces empty back onto the same two interstates at once.
Atlanta drivers already lose about 75 hours a year to congestion, tied with Miami and ranking the metro No. 7 in the United States, per the INRIX 2025 Global Traffic Scorecard. A Braves crowd is added on top of that baseline. Watching the interchange cameras before you leave is the difference between a smooth arrival and sitting on a ramp.

VIEW LIVE CAMS โParking
The Braves operate more than 14,000 game-day spaces, and the official recommendation is to pre-purchase. Named decks in and around The Battery include the Red, Green, Orange, Purple, Silver, and Delta decks, plus Lot 29, which handles tailgating and ADA parking and is served by a shuttle to the Third Base Gate. Prices run roughly $28 at the outer lots up to $75 at the Red Deck. Most lots open about four hours before first pitch for weekend games, with tighter windows on weeknights.
The Braves warn fans to park only in lots that are fully signed, staffed, and secured in accordance with Cobb County policy, since unofficial lots ring the district. If you are being dropped off, the rideshare zone is on Windy Ridge Parkway off Cumberland Boulevard, near the ballpark entrance.
Transit and Shuttles
With no rail, transit to Truist Park is a two-step trip built around the Cumberland Transfer Center and the free Circulator shuttles run by CobbLinc:
- From Cobb County: ride CobbLinc Rapid 10 to the Cumberland Transfer Center, then transfer to the free Circulator Blue or Green shuttle straight to The Battery. Route 10 does not run on Sundays.
- From MARTA rail: connect to MARTA bus Route 12 at the Midtown station to reach Cumberland Mall, then pick up the free Circulator shuttle to the ballpark.
The free Circulator Blue and Green loops run Monday through Saturday, roughly noon to 2 a.m., linking the Cumberland Transfer Center, Cumberland Mall, Akers Mill Square, the Cobb Galleria, and Truist Park. There is no MARTA train that reaches Cumberland, so plan the bus or shuttle leg in advance.
Events Beyond Baseball
The Braves' regular season runs late March through September, with October baseball for playoff runs. Beyond the 81-game home slate, the Coca-Cola Roxy inside The Battery hosts concerts, and the district draws crowds year-round for dining and nightlife independent of whether a game is on. Truist Park has also hosted marquee events including the 2025 MLB All-Star Game, which put unusual pressure on the same interchange and shuttle network. For any high-demand night, the interchange cameras are the fastest read on current conditions.
