Live Cams Around Camden Yards
Watch Russell Street, the Hamburg Street corridor, and the downtown Baltimore approaches before an Orioles game. Free live feeds from Maryland DOT and CHART, refreshed 24/7.
VIEW CAMDEN YARDS LIVE CAMS →Oriole Park at Camden Yards opened on 6 April 1992 and changed baseball architecture permanently. It was the first of the retro ballparks, it ended the concrete-doughnut multi-purpose stadium era, and nearly every park built since has copied it. It sits in the Camden Yards Sports Complex in downtown Baltimore, immediately adjacent to M&T Bank Stadium.
TrafficVision aggregates live camera feeds from MDOT and CHART covering the Baltimore approaches and the downtown grid. All 1,100+ Maryland cameras are free to view, no account required.
The Rideshare Problem
This is the detail that catches people out, and it comes straight from the Orioles' own transportation page: "There are no pick-up/drop-off zones on the immediate streets surrounding Oriole Park."
The closest rideshare zone is on Pratt Street near the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor — a walk from the ballpark. Drop-off areas exist near Gates A, D, and F, but Warner Street between the casino and the stadium is closed to vehicles.
A downtown MLB park with zero adjacent rideshare pickup is genuinely unusual. Plan the exit before you plan the arrival.
September 20, 2026: The Double-Booking
Worth flagging for anyone planning ahead. On 20 September 2026, the Ravens host the Saints at 13:00 (their home opener) and the Orioles host the Brewers at 19:20, nationally televised — both in the same complex on the same day.
Fox Baltimore reports that a prior double-booking produced "traffic gridlock and overbooked lots" that "stranded drivers." The Maryland Stadium Authority said it is "currently evaluating the joint use of the Camden Yards Sports Complex with the teams" — but MSA, the Ravens, and the Orioles all declined to explain the scheduling decision or share congestion plans.
The NFL built its 2026 schedule with input from local municipalities; the Orioles' season was already underway when the conflict surfaced. If you're going to either game, check the cameras well before you leave.
Approach Corridors to Camden Yards
Russell Street
Primary southern approach cams
The main artery into the Camden Yards complex from the south. Also the road that carries I-295 traffic into downtown.
Hamburg Street corridor
Complex access cams
Hamburg Street between Leadenhall and Paca is a standard game-day closure. It's also part of the Ravens' quarter-synced bridge cycle next door — worth understanding if the two venues overlap.
Camden Street and Howard Street
Downtown grid cams
The streets fronting the ballpark. Camden between Paca and Howard closes on typical game days.
I-95 and I-395
Interstate approach cams
The strategic connections into downtown Baltimore from the north and south, feeding the Russell Street and MLK Boulevard approaches.
Game-Day Closures
Typical game-day closures run on Hamburg Street (Leadenhall to Paca), Camden Street (Paca to Howard), and the northbound service lane next to M&T Bank Stadium.
Opening Day is bigger. The 2026 opener (26 March, ~15:05 vs the Twins) ran a considerably wider scheme:
| Street | Segment | From |
|---|---|---|
| Eutaw St | Pratt → Camden | 13:00 |
| Camden St | Howard → Russell | 13:00 |
| Hamburg St | Russell → Leadenhall | 13:00 |
| Washington Blvd | Paca → Greene | 10:00 |
| Emory St | Dover → Portland | 06:00-17:00 |
| Portland St | Emory → Greene | 07:00-23:00 |
| Hopkins Place | Pratt → Lombard | 08:00-20:00 |
Parking restrictions took effect from 10:00 on E. Greene (Lombard to Washington Blvd), E. Eutaw (Pratt to Lombard), and N. Conway (Charles to Sharp). Residential permit-zone violators are towed.
Baltimore City DOT's own guidance is to take Metro or Light Rail.

VIEW LIVE CAMS →Transit — Genuinely Good Here
Camden Yards is one of the better-connected ballparks in MLB:
- MARC Camden Line → Camden Station, right at the complex. Connects to Washington D.C. and BWI.
- Baltimore Light Rail → Convention Center and Camden Station stops
- Metro SubwayLink → Lexington Market and Charles Center
- MTA buses 69, 70, 73, 75
Given the rideshare gap and the tow-happy residential permit zones, transit is the path of least resistance.
Parking
Lots Lee, A, B/C, D, F, G, and H serve the ballpark, with K, L, and N opening on select games. Lots open 1 hour before gates for regular season games — notably tight compared with NFL venues, which typically open 4-5 hours out. Limited day-of availability exists in F, G, and H.
Tailgating is prohibited — the opposite of the Ravens next door and of most NFL complexes. Advance purchase is strongly encouraged.

BUILD YOUR ROUTE →Weather and Season Timing
The Orioles' season runs late March through September, with October baseball for contenders. Baltimore delivers cold, wet Opening Days and humid August evenings. Camden Yards is fully open-air.
Heavy rain slows the I-95 and Russell Street approaches and the downtown grid drains poorly. The live camera feeds show current road-surface conditions in real time.
Coverage Across Baltimore and Maryland
For broader coverage, our Baltimore traffic cameras guide covers the metropolitan network and the Maryland traffic cameras guide covers the wider MDOT and CHART camera set. If you're flying in, the BWI Baltimore airport traffic cameras guide covers the airport approach — and the MARC Camden Line connects BWI directly to the ballpark. For the venue next door, see M&T Bank Stadium live cameras. For comparable historic ballparks, see Fenway Park live cameras and Wrigley Field live cameras — the two parks older than Camden Yards, and the ones its retro design was reaching back toward.
Are there live cams near Camden Yards?
Yes. TrafficVision aggregates feeds from MDOT and CHART covering Russell Street, the Hamburg Street corridor, the downtown Baltimore grid, and the I-95 and I-395 approaches. All 1,100+ Maryland cameras are free to view with no account required.
Can I take a rideshare to Camden Yards?
Not directly to the ballpark. The Orioles state plainly that there are no pick-up or drop-off zones on the immediate streets surrounding Oriole Park. The closest rideshare zone is on Pratt Street near the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor, which means a walk. Drop-off areas exist near Gates A, D, and F, but Warner Street between the casino and the stadium is closed to vehicles. A downtown MLB park with zero adjacent rideshare pickup is genuinely unusual — plan your exit before your arrival.
What streets close for Orioles games?
Typical game days close Hamburg Street (Leadenhall to Paca), Camden Street (Paca to Howard), and the northbound service lane next to M&T Bank Stadium. Opening Day is much wider — the 2026 opener closed Eutaw, Camden, Hamburg, Washington Blvd, Emory, Portland, and Hopkins Place across a staggered schedule from 06:00, with parking restrictions from 10:00 on E. Greene, E. Eutaw, and N. Conway. Residential permit-zone violators are towed. Baltimore City DOT's own advice is to take Metro or Light Rail.
What happens on September 20, 2026?
A double-booking. The Ravens host the Saints at 13:00 (their home opener) and the Orioles host the Brewers at 19:20, nationally televised — both in the Camden Yards Sports Complex on the same day. Fox Baltimore reports that a prior double-booking produced traffic gridlock and overbooked lots that stranded drivers. The Maryland Stadium Authority said it is evaluating joint use of the complex, but MSA, the Ravens, and the Orioles all declined to explain the scheduling decision or share congestion plans. Check the cameras well before you leave.
Is there tailgating at Camden Yards?
No — tailgating is prohibited, which puts it at odds with the Ravens next door and with most NFL complexes. Lots (Lee, A, B/C, D, F, G, H, plus K, L, N on select games) also open just 1 hour before gates for regular season games, which is tight compared with the 4-5 hours typical at NFL venues. Limited day-of availability exists in F, G, and H, but advance purchase is strongly encouraged.
