As of this writing, RTD has suspended its D, H, and L light rail lines from June 7, 2026 through the first quarter of 2027 for a $152 million Downtown Rail Reconstruction Project rebuilding decades-old rail infrastructure through the Colfax Avenue corridor and the Downtown Loop (RTD). "Replacing decades-old rail infrastructure is critical to ensuring a mechanically safe, reliable, and resilient transit network," said RTD CEO Debra Johnson. While the suspension is in effect, Bus Routes 16 and ART (running every 30 minutes) serve the Theatre District/Convention Center station area, along with a reinstated C Line and a temporary T Line covering other parts of the network.
