Goodwood is a motorsport landmark on the Goodwood Estate near Chichester in West Sussex. Transit: Chichester Station

The rail approach to Goodwood runs through Chichester station, on the West Coastway line and served by Southern. It has frequent services along the south coast, with regular trains from Brighton, Portsmouth, and Southampton, and connections from London Victoria, and the station has a long association with Goodwood race days. For major events, Goodwood's standard model is a shuttle-and-park-and-ride operation feeding from the station and outlying car parks, so the practical plan for many visitors is to take the train to Chichester and connect to the event by shuttle, avoiding the A27 crush at the wheel. Festival of Speed and the Revival

Goodwood's two headline motorsport events pull huge crowds to a rural corner of West Sussex.
